Thank you to our Past Participating Businesses and/or Donors

Dear Local NYC Business,

This is our third annual “Still Here NYC” Campaign for our Enders Project Initiative and would absolutely love to have your business participate.

“Still Here NYC” started in 2022 in response to a need for our community to come together through the Covid pandemic while seeing the highlighted importance of inclusion, health, and getting to the root of issues.  It was specifically for New Yorkers who stayed put and called NYC “home” throughout the hardships of the Covid pandemic.  While building community we are able to support equal access to youth sports programs, functional nutrition awareness, and youth career mentorship in our NYC lower income communities.

Every year we set up a community “Still Here NYC” virtual run/walk where New Yorkers can participate on their own or with a local business team to build community within our neighborhoods. Everyone that signs up will receive their Limited Edition “Still Here NYC” T-shirt designed  by our Featured NYC artist of the year, a born and raised New Yorker with their personal writing for everyone to collect or wear. This year’s Featured Artist is a Bronx native- Ivonne Sanchez, a retired Emergency Responder with FDNY who was a First Responder during 9/11.

We are asking local businesses to participate by creating your own team for the 2024 Walk/Run+. You pick your own date, time, and location with your personal team during STILL HERE NYC Week, November 10th-16th. This can be a one mile walk to spend this time getting to know your own community and hearing their stories and heart for this city or a 5K Run that can bring your running community together to build friendships in their own neighborhood.

The “Still Here NYC” campaign will raise funds for Enders Project Equal Access Scholarships along with Enders Project’s Nutrition and Career Mentorship Programming. Formerly known as KING KIDS UNITED, Inc. and now ENDERS PROJECT EQUAL ACCESS, INC. our nonprofit has given out over $100K worth of Equal Access Scholarships to our local NYC youth to sports programs and summer camps. Enders Project’s Functional Nutrition & Herbal Medicine awareness program was launched in spring 2021 and now reaches up to 10,000 children in the NYC area. Please see our full impact Deck at the bottom of our impact stats below.(It takes a minute to load.)

You also have the choice to join in giving this year’s Run/Walk participants a discount on “Still Here NYC” Day, November 16th.

For those of you joining the community run/walk we would love you to take a picture or quick video to share on our social media representing your participation.  We have social media posts to advertise your individual run with your followers that can build your team. We hope the “Still Here NYC” Walk/Run+ will bring together our local businesses and the New Yorkers they serve. For those interested, we would love to provide some of our “health chats” to share as an ice breaker and share some great health info with your community.

Although this is not mandatory, any donation given during this campaign goes directly towards NYC Equal Access Youth Scholarships, our health awareness, and our mentorship build out. We understand NYC businesses were hit very hard during the pandemic and some are still recovering. Any extent of participation is welcomed and appreciated.  We hope you see this as a way to build community within your own blocks and every day customers while helping us spread the word of this very important cause.

We are asking each business to start by filling out the registration linked below.  Feel free to check  out our website and we would love to connect with you and see if you would like to be involved.

Looking forward to connecting with businesses that understand the importance of both equal access and health awareness in the every day activities of our local youth!
