Dear New York,

Welcome to our third annual “Still Here NYC” campaign!

While people come and go from this city, this is for the ones who call NYC HOME! Launched during the Covid pandemic “Still Here NYC” was started to both build and support our local community while all we heard was “everyone is leaving”. This includes a virtual “Still Here NYC” Run or Walk for all New Yorkers to participate whether on their own or with a group. Sign up and run or walk your 1 mile or 5K anywhere/anytime in the Fall to get your limited edition t-shirt of the year to collect or wear.

Every year’s “STILL HERE NYC” t-shirts feature a different born and raised New York “writer”.  Limited Edition pieces from one of our own NYC locals who represents the heart of New York City. There are 2,000 special Limited Edition “Tagged” T-shirts available for sale each year. And everyone who signs up for the Virtual Run/Walk receives the yearly edition “Still Here NYC…2024” t-shirt. This year’s featured artist is Ivonne Sanchez, a retired FDNY Emergency Responder who was a First Responder during 9/11.

The “Still Here NYC” campaign raises funds for Enders Project Equal Access Scholarships along with Enders Project’s nutrition programming and career mentorship. Formerly known as KING KIDS UNITED, INC and now ENDERS PROJECT EQUAL ACCESS, INC. we have given out over $100K worth of Equal Access Scholarships to our local low income NYC youth to sports programs and summer camps.  As we scholarship underserved youth into these programs they add in our Nutrition “Chats” to educate all NYC Youth in these programs with life changing health info.

Looking forward to bringing together a community that understands the importance of both equal access to communities and health awareness in the every day activities of our local youth!

While people come and go from NYC there lays a foundation waiting to be formed in the youth that are born and raised here. Yes, it is a tough time for NYC but we are here to tell you we are STILL HERE and destined to make a difference not only in the youth but in our communities at large.
